BlueyesinLevis:  Iran rejects attack on the reference and confirm it with the change

April 29, 2014  Baghdad _ ((eighth day)) (Snippett – Full Article & Link Below)

Rejected Iran’s ambassador to Iraq, Hassan fled Danaii do overtaking on Najaf shrine reference, stressing that Iran stands by the Iraqi people for a change.

BlueyesinLevis:
This was seen by observers of the Iraqi Iranian ambassador’s remarks confirm that the era of president of a coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki over.

Tlar wrote:     -Iran had to side with the people and was just looking for an excuse to slam Maliki and the SOL. They see the writing on the wall. Maliki’s SOL is being killed in the elections. So in order to have some kind of relationship with the new incoming gover ment they have to slam their boy for the last 4 years, Maliki and his SOL.
~~~
They have been extremely close for 8 years and Iran has used them in order to get their agenda passed along with the Iraqi government protecting Iran in counterfeiting and helping them break sanctions.
But now Iran realizes the people hat the SOL and Maliki and their influence has even been called into question during this election and the months leading up to it.
 Iran has to let the Iraqi’s resolve these elections on their own then trust me, they will swoop in and pretend to be happy for Iraq saying “thank god you guys finally got rid of that guy. It is our desire to have good relations. So how can we help you.”
 In fact it was Iran who backed Maliki up until a few months ago until they saw the blocks coming together to get rid of him. Since then they have sung a different tune trying to appear neutral in Iraq’s affairs until after this is settled and the new government is formed.
Maliki trying to negotiate a position a few weeks back told me even he did not believe he would win. Iran smearing Maliki confirms he will loose because if Maliki had any chance of winning, Iran would support him again. Nobody bets on a horse sure to loose.    ~~ tlar
Millionday Wednesday Afternoon Roundtable  Part 2
Millionday Roundtable 4/30/14  Part  2
    Welcome to Wednesday Afternoon Roundtable With Millionday!
    snowflake59] I find it strange that we have all this hurry up.
    [mrref1216] Iraq is hurry up and wait lol
    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] snowflake59 You know Iraq….they believe in Hurry Up and Wait! In fact, I think they invented it!
    [mrref1216] Smokey Mtn beat you to it lol lol
    [snowflake59] True statement, lol
~~~

     [Florida Country Girl] No perfected it lol

    [graylnjo] Let’s just hope Maliki gets his head handed to him literaly!! 😕

    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] mrref1216 lol I saw that!

    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] graylnjo I agree

    [snowflake59] Maybe Maliki thinks that is his ace in the whole. Like BGG said

    [feebslayer] afternoon all\

    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] feebslayer Hello

    [millionday] i have something here that helps in how the 13303 makes sense due to its expiration

    [Richard Incrocci] snowflake59 I am under the impression that Iraq is way beyond ready to enter the global market for goods, services and a recognizeable currency.

They are, IMO, tired of the shenanigans purported by Maliki and have been working on agreements, plans, and courses of action to engage in immediately after the conclusion of the elections.

They already know who, what, when and how they are going to do everything immediately following elections as well. The currency reform is at the top of that list, I believe.

It may not happen tomorrow, but I would imagine that they are not going to wait long to get it done. They are READY to be a global player and with Maliki out of the way, this will get fast tracked.

    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] Iraq must not want us to know what’s going on so they are messing with our computers! :O

    [millionday] here we go  —  smile  — The State of Kuwait said here on Wednesday that the remaining compensations for damage resulting from the Iraqi aggression amount to USD 6.879 billion after having received USD 1.03 billion in January and USD 990 million in April.

This was announced by Khaled Ahmad Al Mudhaf, chairman of the board the public authority for assessment of compensation for damages resulting from the Iraqi aggression (PAAC), at the opening of the 77th Session of the UN Compensation Commission (UNCC).

    [millionday] note — the arrangements for Kuwait

    [millionday] He said: “The State of Kuwait thanks the Governing Council and the UNCC Secretariat for the distribution, on 23 January 2014 of approximately 1.03 billion US Dollars; and 990 million US Dollars on 24 April 2014.

With these payments, approximately 6.879 billion US Dollars remain outstanding and we thank the Council for its continuing effort in maintaining the entity of the UNCC to ensure the quarterly payments until all the compensation is paid in full.

    [Richard Incrocci] sweet

    [mrref1216] So they still owe

    [millionday] note — as we see here the agreement is very good

    [snowflake59] RichardI… thanks for you synopsis. It makes sense.

    [Richard Incrocci] mrref1216 agreements are in place

    [kimberly1] but they have an existing agreement for payment

    [mrref1216] yes

    [eaglesrest] I agree Richard.

    [Richard Incrocci] snowflake59 YW. I hope I am correct

    [millionday] He noted that Kuwait’s sustained receipt of these payments depends on the continued replenishment of the Compensation Fund in accordance with relevant Security Council Resolutions.

 He stressed the need for continuation of regular deposits in the Compensation Fund, as provided for in UN Security Council Resolution 1956, of 5 percent of the proceeds from all export sales of petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas of Iraq; as well as 5 percent of the value of any non-monetary payments of petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas.

    [millionday] note — that is in the budget and the oil proceeds agreements and also the repayment agreements

    [mrref1216] Sounds good

    [lstar877] Does 13303 also mean no one outside iraq can invest in dinar anymore if its not international by may 22nd??

    [millionday] here comes the best part

    [Richard Incrocci] mrref1216 Look at this like you going on vacation. Up until now, you have been planning. Today you pack and tomorrow you leave for your destination. Iraq in same process, tomorrow they leave the tarmac

    [mrref1216] Richard Incrocci yep

    [millionday] In this regard, Kuwait would like to acknowledge the ongoing commitment of Iraq to fulfill its obligations, he said, emphasizing the importance of continuing to maintain a transparent mechanism to ensure that the amounts deposited into the Compensation Fund are accurate.

 It is the sustained deposit of these funds in the Compensation Fund that will lead to the ultimate fulfillment of the Governing Council’s mandate regarding full payment of the compensation that the Council has found to be due to the people of the State of Kuwait.

    [millionday] note — this is fantastic news — with the agreements being trusted and also the respect given — all a huge leap in where they were even as close as last year

    [millionday] He added that the State of Kuwait has in different communications renewed and reiterated its commitment and readiness to discuss the issue under the auspices of the UNCC.

“We acknowledge the efforts of the UNCC and, in particular, that it stands ready to provide experts and technical assistance to help achieve real progress on this issue,” he noted.

    [millionday] He went on to say: “In the meantime, we would like to recall that guaranteeing payment of the outstanding amount to Kuwait is a responsibility of the Governing Council under its original mandate. Therefore, the UNCC should not relent in its efforts until the full amount is paid.”

 Having provided the political assurances to the Governing Council and having received the withheld funds under decision 258, the Government of the State of Kuwait, since receipt of the program, is moving with success and progress, Al Mudhaf said, adding that the State of Kuwait will submit its report in May 2014 as agreed with the Governing Council.

    [millionday] so what this means is they are going to continue reporting each payment to let the UN know it has been made on time as agreed

    [smiller67] I’m sorry….I can’t really lurk much. They are cracking the whip. I just want to know… RV there yet?

    [slh5282] Millionday, do you have an idea as to what the balance owed to Kuwait?

    [millionday] wow you are at the right place — that is the name of this club!! lol

    [millionday] slh5282 yes — just a sec

    [smiller67] Oh thank you MD

    [slh5282] I know they have been paying along but the balance should be close to being paid.

    [millionday] “The State of Kuwait thanks the Governing Council and the UNCC Secretariat for the distribution, on 23 January 2014 of approximately 1.03 billion US Dollars; and 990 million US Dollars on 24 April 2014. With these payments, approximately 6.879 billion US Dollars remain outstanding

    [millionday] so they are making the payments and all is well in the payment department —

    [mrref1216] Pocket change for Iraq

    [slh5282] OK thank you very much. They could pay that off with the left pocket amount

    [slh5282] or the right

    [millionday] absolutely not a problem and in comparison to what was owed — this is great

    [mrref1216] thats right they don’t have pockets  lol

    [ten4god] I’m sorry if this redundant but do they have to have that debt paid in full before RV?

    [millionday] brb with more

    [slh5282] they have sacks  LOL

    [millionday] ten4god no – they have to have agreements made for debt and keep them brb with more

    [mrref1216] MD would it benefit them if they had the debt paid off before the RV

    [slh5282] I would say that we will see Maliki out of the country and in some place that will allow him to be safe by the end of the week

    [Tex1] millionday Is the Kuwait money and the CBI RV money separate ?

    [slh5282] especially if he looses

    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] Tex1 Yes. Iraq’s currency and Kuwait’s currency are two separate currencies. Like the USA and Canada.

    [kimberly1] The Kuwait money is part of the budget and the CBI are completely separate

    [millionday] here we go

    [kenster] Not asking for a date or rate. Do ya’ll think we will see the RV before the end of next week???

    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] kenster YES

    [kenster] Me too

    [slh5282] would be great if we did

    [jtank] YES

    [lstar877] NICE!!! I’M IN!!!

    [kimberly1] They said they want to hit the floor running and can’t run without it

    [millionday] tex yes it is separate — the reserves dont include the proceeds that are destined for repayment of debt

    [mrref1216] MD would it benefit Iraq if they had their debt paid off before the RV??

    [kimberly1] Need to have a reaity rate to do all the stuff they said they wanted to do

    [Tex1] Smokey Mtn. Dinar It’s The IQD that pays Kuwait and the RV Isn’t it

    jtank] 3 million homes to be built–

    [millionday] This was sent to me>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Said the newspaper “New York Times” today that “many American officials would welcome the defeat of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in the elections.

She explained that the “ratings CIA believes that the re-election of al-Maliki may increase sectarian tensions and even raise the likelihood of civil war,

citing his failure to compromise with the Iraqi factions other – Sunni or Kurds – and the failures of the military has against Islamic extremists.

 Also in the custody, accused the army Iraqi trained by the Americans of committing serious violations against activists and opponents of his government, including torture, arbitrary arrest and operations for the year claiming their rights and taking bribes for the release of detainees.

” The paper in its report that “al-Maliki has lost the support of references Shiite religious authorities in Najaf, the holy city in southern Iraq, who hold sway heavily on the Shiite majority in Iraq.”

    [millionday] oops

    [slh5282] sounds like he needs to be packing a bag

    Smokey Mtn. Dinar] kenster My daughter goes to school with 2 Iraqi students. She told me this morning that she ran in to them, and they told her NEXT WEEK! And they were VERY HAPPY!

    millionday] ok so this is where we are  — the elections are over and now they are counting and parliament is to meet tomorrow — the wait right now is where who what and when

    millionday] so as we can guess just like anywhere — everyone is waiting on results and we could sit all day and guess so now we wait for some type of update as to where this is going election wise

Millionday Wednesday Afternoon Roundtable  Part 1

Millionday Roundtable 4/30/14  Part 1

    Welcome to Wednesday Afternoon Roundtable With Millionday!

    [millionday] time zones are different remember

    [millionday] Baghdad: closed polling stations throughout Iraq electronically by six o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, with the staff of the Electoral Commission began to pull tapes of electronic information and the process of counting the primary.

    [millionday] The reporter said, “Tomorrow’s Press,” All the polling stations in Iraq shut down automatically once the solutions at six o’clock in the evening, pointing out that electronic devices are programmed to shut at this hour.
~~~
  He added that the staff of the Electoral Commission they immediately withdraw the tapes information from electronic devices and closed in a manner that can not be opened only by the involved counting and sorting, indicating that the Commission started well immediately open the funds to be a mechanism of counting the initial presence of local and international observers.
    [millionday] Began, on Wednesday morning, the elections of the new House of Representatives in all governorates of Iraq, is scheduled to vote today 20 million and 437 thousand and 712 voters of the covered voting process according to the Statistical Commission, whereas the number of candidates of political entities and coalitions 9031, including 6424 men and 2707 women competing for 328 parliamentary seats.
    [millionday] now remember the choosing will be after the party is released – some think there is no way the gov of iraq could be left to chance – but i am the ink girl so we will move on   smile
    [clay] what is the relevance of the 22nd we it has to do w/DFI but what about currency change
    [clay] and if so y
    [millionday] on May 22nd the protection of Iraqi funds ends by the US of A — 13303 ends and expires
    [clay] ok but what does it have to due w/global currency if at all
    [millionday] they are to have all agreements if not debts paid — we do know they have to at least have the debt payments agreed on
    [clay] ok ty
    [mrref1216] Four years ago Maliki did not win the popular vote but was put in by his peers, can the same thing happen this go around.
    [millionday] it has to do with the fact that
    [ten4god] Have the DFI funds been released already?
    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] My question was, here in America if we are already standing in line when the polls close, we can still vote. It sounds like that wasn’t the case in Iraq.
    [millionday] if the countries owed take iot — it will actually be worth a lot more than owed in a short time due to their opening to the globe with free market economy
    [clay] got ya ty
    [millionday] mrref1216 according to all the ink — the vote will determine
    [mrref1216] MD ok thanks
    [millionday] ten4god we read a report that they are in other accounts and have been moved —
    [ten4god] Thanks
    [millionday] Smokey Mtn. Dinar i know there was some problems here — not sure if they are going to allow those votes to get in or not — there were some issues
    [millionday] they may have resolved them – the counting has begun
    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] OK thank you
    [Richard Incrocci] I thought I had read somewhere that agreements for all remaining debt have been made and are satisfactory
    [millionday] all international votes started this week — today was Iraq by itself
    [wheresmyrv?] Millionday do u think they will have someone picked for pm by this weekend?
    [millionday] i am not sure how long the process will take to count but seems it should be a lot different than last time with electronic voting in
    [Richard Incrocci] wheresmyrv? The CIA put out a report saying that Maliki has ZERO chance of being PM again
    [Smokey Mtn. Dinar] Let’s hope so. Should be MUCH FASTER!
    [millionday] dont get confused — all the iraqis abroad have already voted —- only Iraq was left for today
    [clay] millionday when pm is chosen does he immediately rule
    Richard Incrocci] millionday In regards to 13303, I thought I had read somewhere that agreements for all remaining debt have been made and are satisfactory. Am I correct?
    [millionday] i am not sure — i have spent hours looking — i would say no by the democratic process but was trying to find it in ink as well
    [millionday] Richard Incrocci yes you are correct
    [lovely] the fact that he did not rv he must have known he did not have a chance for reelection
    [millionday] i know i see a report that he is calling parliament for tomorrow — brb with it
    [mrref1216] lovely he has nothing to do with the RV
    [lovely] oh
    [mrref1216] If that was the case he would have done it 4 years ago
    [jtank] lovely listen to bgg last call
    [millionday] here we go –  Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, Wednesday, during casting his vote that everyone will be tomorrow at the new House of Representatives in order to agree on a state-building, calling on everyone to leave the past and move towards the present, while stressing that the fortunes of the coalition great and he assured of achieving win, pointed out that state law does not have a red line on the state of the block.
    [Richard Incrocci] millionday Ok, so as far as 13303 goes, we should have no concerns for ‘debt collection’ on Iraq funds and they can now be used for both payments and as reserves for the backing of the new currency value. Correct? Or will they be available after 5-22?
    [graylnjo] Lovely, listen to BGG’s CC last night It will explain many things
    [millionday] Maliki said in a statement to a number of media, including “Tomorrow’s Press,” during casting his vote at the Rashid Hotel in the Green Zone that “the election is a wedding election after the bet other on not hold them, “
noting that” the election was administered previously in the presence of foreign troops, a day for the second time we are having great success without the presence of any foreign troops.
    [millionday] Richard Incrocci the agreements will be followed by the 8 countries they were made — they are signed
    [Richard Incrocci] millionday Cool. Thanks!
    [millionday] smile
    [millionday] and added that “the people defied those who tried to dissuade him from participating and did not stop to exercise their right in the elections, because the elections to ensure the life and hope which is another blow to those who bet on not hold them,
“noting that” the chances of the state law great and I am assured of a win or a red line in alliance with any bloc believes Iraq unified free of militias and terrorist forces.
    [millionday] Maliki said “all of us we will be tomorrow in Parliament in order to agree on a state-building, and I call on everyone to leave the past to the back and start building the state on a national basis, “adding that” the form of government depends on the participation in the elections, and build a state based on the change without a clone of the previous governments. “
stressed Prime Minister on the importance of the “be a majority government policy is made up of all the political forces representing the components of Iraq.
    [millionday] note — point here is they are meeting tomorrow as we were told
    [millionday] referred to the parliamentary elections in their general form was launched today the 30th of April with the participation of 39 political coalition deal of Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds, as well as 244 political entities from all over the the country with the participation of 9040 candidates competing for 328 seats, while confirmed Almqodah Electoral it will start counting and sorting upon the completion of the voting process and the results will be announced as soon as the completion of the counting process.
    [lovely] graylnjo thanks
    [mrref1216] lovely the IMF told Maliki to keep his nose out of the CBI business…
    [millionday] so this was this morning from the UN as well –  and the World Bank
    [millionday] Baghdad urged the United Nations Mission in Iraq, UNAMI, Wednesday, voters to take advantage of the remaining time and go to the polling stations to cast their ballots,
calling the political blocs of winning the election to accelerate the formation of the government and rid Iraq of its current crisis.
    [millionday] The representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Nikolai Miladinov at a press conference attended by “tomorrow’s Press,” said that “the political blocs of winning the election to accelerate the formation of the next government with a strong program works to get Iraq out of its current crisis.”
 and added that “there are some challenges that facing the process of universal suffrage It is too early to assess the performance of the work of the Commission, but
    [millionday] note — sounds like they want it set up right away [jtank] get r done
    [millionday] the Commission has made its utmost for the success of the elections, “explaining that” the Commission has done a highly professional manner which is worthy of managing this work. “
and called Miladinov the Iraqi people to “take advantage of the remaining time and go to the polling stations to cast their ballots “he said, adding that” the UN mission in Iraq held a meeting with the Supreme Security Committee and Gestnahm that make efforts in order to allow citizens to broad participation in the elections.
    [ivorygal] “It is too early to assess the performance of the work of the Commission…”, meaning IHEC?
    [millionday] the commision monitoring the vote
    [ivorygal] OK thank you.
    [millionday] Began, on Wednesday morning, the elections of the new House of Representatives in all governorates of Iraq, is scheduled to vote today 20 million and 437 thousand and 712 voters of the covered voting process according to the Statistical Commission, whereas the number of candidates of political entities and coalitions 9031, including 6424 men and 2707 women competing for 328 parliamentary seats.
    [millionday] so obviously they are in a hurry to move forward with the New Iraq
Comments may be made at the end of  Part 2  Thank You
Who is in Iraq to vote, risked his life. For Islamist terrorists try to force to prevent the vote. Only the politicians can choose without risk – into Baghdad security zone.
In the parliamentary elections in Iraq, Islamic militants have terrorized in many places voters with bombings and mortar attacks. Nationally, at least 26 people were killed on Wednesday, including two suicide bombers. It was the first choice in the unstable country since the withdrawal of the U.S. Army in late 2011. Minister Nuri al-Maliki gave himself sure of victory in voting in the well-protected Green Zone of Baghdad.
The turnout in the conflict regions in the west and north of Baghdad was lower than in Baghdad and in the Shiite south provinces. There the polling stations had been better secured, according to observers.
The electoral commission announced that 39 of the total 8075 polling stations were not opened due to the difficult security situation. By the afternoon, spent about 40 percent of voters from their ballots. After eleven hours, the polls were closed at 18.00 local time clock.
The Shiite Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said in Baghdad. "Our victory is certain, and we will form a coalition with anyone who wants a united Iraq wants" Because of the recent escalation of violence between Shia and Sunni Al-Maliki is now also at Shiite politicians in the criticism.
Several attacks tore voters and policemen to death
The main challenger to Al-Maliki’s State of Law Alliance are also dominated by religious Shiite parties alliances Al and Al-Ahrar Muwatin. The counterparties include the Mutahidun list of Sunni parliamentary speaker Osama al-Nudschaifi and the Al Watanija block. The Al Ayad Allawi Watanija-chairman, a secular Shiite, had with his old Al-Irakija Alliance in the 2010 general election, more votes than Al-Maliki’s alliance.
